OMSI with +&>
March 8, 2019
Last December I had the great privilege of working on a conceptual and functional art piece for OMSI's The Epicenter earthquake simulation installation with the agency +&>, who led the redesign of the exhibit. The Epicenter’s interactive environment aids in the education and preparedness training of children and families through immersive soundscapes and physical mechanics. The design of the ribbed form and furniture components elevates the conversation on how architecture and engineering innovate not just in form and technical fabrication, but also towards safer buildings and cities. My studio photography of children in motion was used on several different surfaces in the installation.
